DJW’s expertise in sound was required for the Museum’s Concorde display. Following a six minute AV show, visitors step into the rear of Concorde and by using a large BOSE sub-bass system, visitors are able to experience for themselves, Concorde’s full throated roar, as the aircraft ‘takes off’.

The theme of the Museum’s new gallery is the physics of flight. It contains four large wind tunnels, each of which demonstrates one of the four aspects involved in the aerodynamic control of aircraft - Ailerons, Elevators, Rudders and Lift & Airflow , each enhanced with ambient sound effects.
