If you are visiting this site from AOL, most graphics from the web are compressed on your system and do not look as the designer intended. You can usually avoid this by following this procedure: Go to "My AOL", then to preferences, click on the "WWW" button, then from the box that comes up, choose the "Web Graphics" tab. Click on to UNCHECK the box for "use compressed graphics". You must then clear your browser's cache! or your browser will show you the website's pages from memory, not a fresh copy of the page.

The Big Idea
Wildscreen & Explore @ Bristol
Think again! Working with David Craddock Design, DJW has developed a highly personalised, interactive centre where schoolchildren learn about green issues and recycling in a highly interactive and fun way. Based on the 'swipe' card design, the system allows each visitor to have their own LabPass.
The LabPass holds information about the visitor such as their name, age, school and even the date of their last visit. Thus, by encouraging multiple visits to The Greenhouse, aggregate scores may be built up over a period of time.
By 'logging on' when they arrive, each young visitor is able to build up their own 'environmentally aware score' through taking part in a number of interactive games positioned throughout The Greenhouse.

DJW had particular involvement with two of The Greenhouse's main interactive games; The Swipe Out game and The Materials Detective.
